I attended Equinology in 1999 and in 2000. There I took advanced equine classes in body work, anatomy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, biomechanics and physical therapy. I passed the certification test to become an Advanced Equine Bodyworker in 2000. In 2008, the title changed, so I am now a Master Equine Bodyworker.
I went back to school in 2001, beginning my Undergrad career at North Dakota State University. There I took many equine classes, as well as numerous science classes. I then went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. I finished my Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Biology April, 2008 and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree November, 2008. I attended the animal Chiropractic (VSMT) course at the Healing Oasis, Inc. in 2010.
January 2010 we welcomed Alice Elizabeth into our family, and Logan Van joined us on May 6, 2015. We are family orientated!
I have worked with many different breeds of horses, but I traditionally have owned Arabian and Arabian crosses . I ride endurance currently, so I am uniquely qualified to treat equine athletes. I provide care for my own equine endurance athletes successfully. Please contact me if you have any questions, or would like to schedule an evaluation of your equine athlete today.
