Equine Body Work

About Dr. Amber Erickson, D.C., B.S., M.E.B.W.

I attended Equinology in 1999 and in 2000.   There I took advanced equine classes in body work, anatomy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, biomechanics and physical therapy.  I passed the certification test to become an Advanced Equine Bodyworker in 2000.  In 2008, the title changed, so I am now a Master Equine Bodyworker.

I went back to school in 2001, beginning my Undergrad career at North Dakota State University.  There I took many equine classes, as well as numerous science classes.  I then went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.  I finished my Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Biology April, 2008 and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree November, 2008. Next fall I will be completing my animal chiropractic certification.

I have worked with many different breeds of horses, but I traditionally have owned Arabian and Arabian crosses .  I ride endurance currently, so I am uniquely qualified to treat equine athletes. I provide care for my own equine endurance athletes successfully.  Please contact me if you have any questions, or would like to schedule an evaluation of your equine athlete today.
